Axis Construction was founded more than 20 years ago by Ralph Lambert, Robert Wihlborg and Roy Lambert with the initial goal of providing superior general construction to a broad range of customers. Within four years, the company expanded to include construction management services and a new division, Axis Medical Imaging Construction, which specializes in the design and building of medical construction projects, including diagnostic imaging and radiology facilities. A few years later, Axis further expanded to include Modular Systems to accommodate our clients in the educational, commercial/industrial, and healthcare industries that require modular construction. More recently, we reached a milestone and developed a "green" construction group with LEED accredited professionals on staff. Axis Construction has become one of the leading construction management/general construction firms in the Tri-state region, with a prestigious client list that includes: North Shore University Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, City University of New York, Winthrop University Hospital, Stop & Shop Supermarkets, Lenox Hill Hospital, Metro North Rail, Staten Island Hospital, Estee Lauder, Northrop Grumman, Long Island Rail Road, C.W. Post University, Peconic Bay Medical Center, Yonkers Public Schools, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Jacobi Medical Center.
